Inversion Design Build
Inversion Design Build is an architect led design/build firm based in Yakima, Washington. We specialize in sustainable, resilient, affordable homes. We work with homeowners, soon to be homeowners, and local organizations to build “missing middle” houses that weave themselves into their natural surroundings and historic context.
The missing middle are all the homes you wish you could find but don’t ever show up on the market. They include townhomes, live/work condominiums, lofts, accessory dwelling units, and all the other affordably sized housing types that we have not been building enough of for nearly a century. We design them and build them all in-house from concept sketch to handing over the keys.
We are a Social Purpose Corporation (SPC). Our mission is to afford anyone the chance to own a home.
