LivFul founder Hogan Bassey grew up in Nigeria and had several bouts of Malaria before age 10. Motivated to change his situation, he created his own repellent in his bathroom from simple household products. Only later did he learn that repellents already existed – he just didn’t have access to them. As he grew up, he realized that this lack of access was all too common in the global healthcare industry. He founded LivFul with a vision to change that.
Starting with a breakthrough insect repellent, LivFul’s portfolio has expanded to include a range of products focused on preventing and controlling infection. Hogan’s vision has attracted a globally experienced leadership team that shares his passion for bringing products to the market so that all people, not just the wealthiest billion, have access to them.
