NewDay Treatment Center

NewDay brings together highly qualified professionals in addiction treatment, medicine, and Christian ministry to provide addiction treatment, medical care, and family counseling for clients.

At NewDay, we know that drug and alcohol addiction is an intense problem and an ever-growing epidemic across the country and around the world. Every 4 minutes, someone in the US dies as the result of an overdose or alcohol-related cause. The Surgeon General estimates that approximately 10% of the US population suffers from an addiction, with nearly 22 million being untreated. This translates to 1 in 3 families being directly affected by addiction.

A new kind of addiction treatment program.

The seeds of NewDay were first planted in the late 1990s when Dan Johnson taught through the book of Exodus in his church. As a result, numerous people sought Dan’s help in confronting their addictive habits.  In time, his burden grew for both individuals caught in addiction and their families.

Eventually, NewDay was birthed.

Since its beginning, NewDay has provided counseling to an ever-growing number of individuals and families. NewDay also became the referral choice of numerous churches, developed highly effective recovery and church training curriculums, and published several books.

At NewDay, we are:

  • Qualified to provide the professional services necessary for you to experience freedom from addiction.

  • Clear, ensuring that you understand who we are, what we stand for, and how our programs can meet your needs.

  • Understanding, because we grasp the pain of addiction and seek to provide what you need to heal.

  • Sincere, striving always to speak the truth in love.

  • Accessible, ready to meet you when you make the choice to begin your recovery.

Spiritual Formation

As a faith-based organization, we believe that freedom from substance abuse and addiction includes not only therapeutic and medical services, but that it also involves the development of a strong spiritual foundation and engagement with a church community. NewDay holds to beliefs that have characterized evangelical Christianity for many years.
