Lift Orlando
Lift Orlando was founded by business leaders working with residents committed to strengthening their community.
Since 2013, we've been working to strengthen the historic neighborhoods surrounding Camping World Stadium, in the heart of Orlando. These neighborhoods have long been rich in African American heritage, including many long-term residents who broke through the barriers of racial and economic inequality in the 1940's, 50's and 60’s. These neighborhoods have also experienced inequity in public and private investments that support the well-being of residents.
WHAT WE DO
Mixed Income Housing: We develop high quality homes that are affordable for residents and attract families back to the neighborhood.
Cradle to Career Education: We partner with local schools to build a high-performing educational pipeline that begins with early childhood and goes all the way to promising careers.
Health and Wellness: We improve wellbeing by delivering high-quality facilities, programs and services to enhance quality of life and increase life expectancy.
Economic Viability: We stimulate economic activity and growth through employment, entrepreneurship and economic development the increases household incomes.
