Homestead at Hog Mountain

Homestead at Hog Mountain is a place where neighbors become friends and community is a lifestyle. Located just Northeast of Atlanta, our community is a welcome reprieve with ample greenspace, nature walks, and the walkable convenience of urban life.

The plan is approved for 18 1+ acre estate home lots, 57 single family lots, 4 live/work lots and 6 town-home lots for a total of 85 residential units. The plans also include lots approved for 40,000 SF of commercial space along with acreage for a church and Christian school. The wide variety of housing types will allow for a wide diversity of socio-economic demographics. The economic projections include an assumed partnership with Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity to build 5 single-family homes within the community. The project will be providing these lots to Habitat at a discounted rate and will be encouraging further investment by stakeholder organizations in the area into these Habitat homes and families.

A trail system is planned that will connect with nearby Little Mulberry Park, a popular 900-acre County park. Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation has designated the trail as a future connection for the Gwinnett County Greenway project, making the community an important link in the long-term future flourishing of the area. The commercial areas are designed to foster community connections, walkability and “third places” where friends, neighbors and colleagues meet to eat, drink, hang out and do life together.
