Surv
Surv is a "honey-do" list membership for aging homeowners to make sure their home and health are in good care. Surv pairs older adults who need help with DIY projects around the home with 20-30 year old, values and lifestyle driven young people seeking flexible, meaningful work.
First and foremost, Surv is a mission-driven organization, from their long-term goals to their daily operations. Their mission is to build stronger communities through service, by elevating young adults, bridging social gaps, and meeting the needs. Everyone in the company has a passion for community and actively is involved in building it through Surv, and outside of Surv.
They also have five Core Values that help them stay on track:
Agape: "Choosing love to bridge division." (Agape, and its definition, is plastered across the wall in their tiny Newport, Rhode Island office.)
